Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 3, 2026

Fireproof Studio LLC operates Tinyfort. Contact hello@fireproof.studio about privacy. This policy distinguishes the Unity edition from earlier versions.

Current Unity version

You do not need to create a game account to play. Progress and preferences are saved on your device. The app also saves a randomly generated billing profile and purchase-recovery records. Operating-system backups may preserve app data separately. A local progress reset does not erase provider purchase records.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments; Google Play processes Android store payments. Tinyfort uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore eligible purchases, manage entitlements and analyze purchase history. RevenueCat receives an app-generated persistent billing identifier and purchase, transaction and entitlement information. Its processing may include technical information such as device type, operating system and connection activity. We do not receive your payment-card details from either store. Optional gameplay analytics choices do not switch off purchase processing. Apple handles store information under its privacy policy. Google handles store information under its privacy policy. RevenueCat processes app-user information on our instructions under its service arrangements; see its privacy information.

Usage, crash reporting and advertising

The presently audited Unity configuration has no live Firebase reporting configuration or live advertising placements. The Usage & Crash Data setting defaults off; the authored reporting integration requires both your saved opt-in and live configuration before initialization. Ad service construction does not itself request ads or display a consent prompt. If a future release activates these services, we will update the policy and applicable choices to describe its actual processing. These statements do not mean purchase processing stops or every bundled SDK makes zero network connections.

Reminders

Daily reminders use local notifications and require device permission. Disable them in the game or your device settings.

Earlier versions

Earlier Tinyfort versions included different services, including AWS account, analytics and leaderboard functions, and were described in earlier versions of this policy. The Unity client does not use the earlier AWS backend. Moving to Unity does not itself establish that earlier records were deleted. Requests concerning an earlier version are assessed against the records and services associated with that version. Tell us the version and platform if you know them; we will explain the applicable scope when responding.

Earlier Android versions also included Google Mobile Ads and Firebase analytics/crash reporting. Depending on the service and choices, processing can include IP-derived approximate location, device identifiers, app or ad interactions, diagnostics and crash information for advertising, measurement, service operation and security. These earlier-version practices are separate from the disabled optional services in the audited Unity configuration.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only for the purposes described here and for as long as needed to provide purchase access and restoration, handle support and privacy requests, meet applicable legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes and prevent fraud. Those needs vary by record and provider; we do not apply one fixed retention period to every record. When a record is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable retention requirements and provider backup cycles. Changing a collection choice affects future collection and is not a request to delete information already processed. A local progress reset or uninstall does not itself delete information held by us or providers. Deletion does not cancel a store subscription or request a refund.

Requests and choices

Email hello@fireproof.studio to request access, correction or deletion, or ask a privacy question. Include your platform, game version if known and the action requested. Do not send passwords, account sign-in credentials or payment-card details. We may request only information needed to locate relevant records and verify your authority. We assess requests under applicable law, explain any necessary retention exception or scope limitation and respond using this contact channel. Rights depend on where you live. Manage subscriptions through the Apple or Google Play account used to subscribe.

Children's privacy

Tinyfort is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact hello@fireproof.studio so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Providers and changes

Apple, Google and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than where you live, under their applicable service and data-protection arrangements. We require providers acting on our behalf to protect app-user information under those arrangements. We update this page and its effective date when the policy changes materially.
