The game

Every defense depends
on the system behind it.

You are the builder, not the gunner. Place defenses on illuminated ground, direct the work queue, and keep a maintained stronghold standing through incoming waves.

Explore a map larger than the screen: drag to pan, zoom out to see the whole board, then zoom in to plan your next placement.

01

Build under pressure

Enemy kills supply Biomass for building, repairing and upgrading. Workers take the oldest job; you can cancel or reorder the queue.

02

Protect the power

Generators supply your weapons and floodlights. Lose too much capacity and every weapon and light goes offline.

03

Fight for visibility

Floodlights reveal the ground you can build on and the enemies your weapons can target. Darkness changes every decision.

A journey through the outbreak

A way home begins
with somewhere safe.

Follow an engineer searching for his family through an infected region. Restore the links between outposts, follow the evacuation trail, and build places others can depend on.

Proposed campaign environment direction · Concept artwork
One journey. Changing terrain.

Urban escape, mountains, high-elevation winter, the river, an Arizona/Utah-inspired arid region and the coast form the current campaign direction. Names and individual locations remain in development.

Planned ways to play

A story to follow.
A defense to keep improving.

Campaign

Six chapters. Ninety missions.

Fifteen missions in each campaign, with persistent outpost improvements and a story-driven journey. Campaign play is planned to work offline.

Unranked endless

Choose your ground.

Ten selectable launch maps with waves continuing until your main base falls. Use your defenses and progression to chase a stronger run.

Ranked survival

The same map. The longest hold.

One map shared by all players, changing every 28-day season. Survive until base destruction and compete on time, with weekly ranked rewards and no paid gameplay advantages.

Planned as a free download with optional purchases for campaign and unranked endless progression, plus cosmetics. Ranked excludes paid gameplay advantages. Optional rewarded-ad continues are campaign-only; no prices or release date are announced.

Both endless and ranked unlock after successfully completing Campaign 1, Mission 10. Ranked requires an online connection. Details and balance may change during development.

Visible progress

A stronghold worth
coming back to.

Campaign outpost improvements are planned to persist in both appearance and function. Placed defenses and active run upgrades reset between runs; your account progression and owned items remain.

Eleven kinds of danger

The outbreak does
not all move the same way.

Ground crowds, climbing threats, water ambushes and aerial attacks ask different questions of your defense.

Zombies

Slow walkers that press the line.

Zombie dogs

Fast runners that close distance.

Zombie elephants

Slow heavy attackers with large damage.

Zombie birds

Fast threats from the air.

Zombie rats

Fast, low-health herds that call for area damage.

Zombie monkeys

Climb trees, evade ground splash and descend to attack.

Zombie alligators

Fast in water, slower on land, emerging to attack.

Zombie bears

Another heavy tank threat.

Zombie tigers

Fast, high damage and lower durability.

Zombie hyenas

Fast, low-health pack attackers.

Large zombie spiders

Webs impair gun speed.
